On the afternoon of October 21, 2021, Chairman Xu Lie, Director of Scientific Research Xue Gaifeng, and Scientific Research Management Engineer Yue Xiaoxue visited Jianlong Group’s Beijing headquarters for a discussion on the joint scientific and technological development projects between the two parties. Wang Xiuhua, Director of the Quality and Technology Department, participated in the meeting via video conference. Jianlong Group Vice President Huang Dan, Senior Expert Huang Chao, and the company’s science and technology management personnel attended the meeting. Du Yanming, Deputy General Manager of Jilin Jianlong; Xu Weili, Deputy General Manager of Xilin Iron & Steel Group; Li Haitao, Executive Deputy General Manager of Heilongjiang Jianlong Iron & Steel; Wang Qian, Chief Engineer of Heilongjiang Jianlong Iron & Steel; and heads of coking plants from various partner units also participated via video conference.

At the meeting, Xue Gaifeng, Huatai’s Director of Research and Development, reported on the progress and interim achievements of eight research projects undertaken by Huatai in collaboration with Jianlong Group over the past two years. Companies of Jianlong Group expressed strong interest in Huatai Yongchuang’s new technologies and a willingness to strengthen cooperation to ensure these research projects bear fruit within Jianlong Group. Jianlong Vice President Huang Dan highly commended the innovation and advanced nature of these projects, noting their significant importance in leading the industry toward green and sustainable development. It was requested that the companies participating in the joint development projects designate a senior executive to personally oversee the advancement of these projects. Finally, leaders from both parties exchanged views on the follow-up development and cooperation regarding the research projects, clarifying the direction and objectives for their advancement. Jianlong Vice President Huang Dan and Huatai Chairman Xu Lie stated that this partnership represented a powerful alliance and expressed their willingness to innovate together to jointly promote the green and high-quality development of China’s coking industry.

Following the meeting, Vice President Huang Dan and other executives led and accompanied Chairman Xu Lie and his delegation on a tour of the exhibition hall at Jianlong Group’s Beijing headquarters, where they provided an overview of the group’s development history and recent achievements.
