To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and in accordance with the overall work plan for Party history study and education, the Party branch of Huatai Yongchuang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. organized a special meeting on Party history study and education on the afternoon of August 31, 2021.

The Start of Democratic Life Meeting

Prior to the meeting, the Party branch organized all Party members to thoroughly study relevant materials, including General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech delivered at the mobilization conference for the Party history study and education campaign.

At the special meeting, participants first watched four short videos on Party history, including “The First Five-Star Red Flag Raised at Tiananmen Square”, during which Comrade Dong Xinghong, the branch secretary, provided detailed commentary on the content.

Secondly, some Party members conducted thorough self-examinations of their Party spirit and engaged in criticism and self-criticism. Their candid exchanges and mutual reminders demonstrated the political nature, contemporary relevance, principled stance, and combative spirit of intra-Party political life. During the process of criticism and self-criticism, issues were identified, including insufficient systematic study of Party history and theory, a tendency toward complacency in work, contentment with the status quo, and a lack of willingness to embrace new initiatives. Party members were urged to remain grounded in their respective posts, fulfill their duties, and exemplify the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members.

Finally, Party branch secretary Dong Xinghong delivered closing remarks. He called for the regular convening of democratic life meetings, emphasizing that every Party member must engage in regular criticism and self-criticism. He also urged the organization of diverse branch activities to foster communication and strengthen friendship among members, with the aim of strengthening branch development and making greater contributions to the company’s production and operations. Additionally, he required Party members to study Party theory through the “Xuexi Qiangguo” app and to select an article from the platform to provide a detailed explanation to fellow Party members.

Prospective Party members were invited to participate in this meeting, while Party members who were away on business actively joined via video conference. The meeting successfully achieved its objectives of unifying thoughts, clarifying direction, and fostering unity. It helped Party members develop a sense of belonging to the Party organization, strengthened the public’s desire to join the Party, and enhanced the cohesion of the Party branch, facilitating their greater contribution to the company’s rapid business development.
