The vibrant month of August is brimming with youthful energy. To help new employees quickly familiarize themselves with the corporate culture, adapt to the work environment, transition into their new roles, and better integrate into the company’s dynamic atmosphere, Huatai Yongchuang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. officially kicked off its 2021 new employee orientation on August 9, 2021. In response to COVID-19 prevention and control measures, this year’s training was conducted via video conference between Beijing and Anshan.

The training program lasted for six days, with 58 new employees from various departments (divisions) participating. Company Chairman Xu Lie, accompanied by the executive team and all middle management, attended the opening ceremony. He extended a warm welcome to the new employees and delivered an inspiring lecture for the first session of the training. Chairman Xu Lie gave an important speech covering the industry background, the company’s history, its development goals and its philosophy. He also expressed his earnest hopes for the new employees’ growth. First, they should establish sound personal values and prioritize moral integrity and self-cultivation in both conduct and work. Second, they should develop a clear life and career plan, with ideals and goals, aligning their personal positioning with the company’s actual circumstances. Third, they should focus on core responsibilities, be dedicated to their work, learn continuously, improve their professional skills, and grow alongside the company.

Department directors, heads of specialized divisions, and senior experts served as instructors. The training curriculum covered company policies and regulations, compensation and benefits, work procedures, specialized knowledge of various departments and divisions, and case studies of engineering projects. The instructors prepared their lessons meticulously and delivered detailed, targeted and practical explanations. New employees listened attentively and engaged in active thinking. The training proceeded in a focused and orderly manner, achieving the desired results.

General Manager Han Dong summarized the training program and shared his perspectives on the “dual carbon” goals (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality). Drawing on his own early career experiences, General Manager Han Dong shared five key perspectives with the new employees during the wrap-up session, including the relationship between employees and the company, becoming a person with positive thinking, becoming a person worthy of respect, cultivating a meticulous and rigorous work attitude, and continuous learning after graduation. He also set expectations for the new employees, expressing his hope that they would work to advance together with the company.
